Olieve and Olie
Natural and nourishing skincare made in Victoria

There is something especially lovely about everyday products that are made with care and thoughtfulness.
Family-owned Olieve & Olie has been handcrafting natural skincare on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula for more than two decades. What began as a small, local endeavour has grown into a much-loved Australian brand, yet it has remained firmly rooted in the same values: simplicity, quality ingredients, and a commitment to making products that feel good to use every day.
At the heart of the range is Australian-grown extra virgin olive oil, chosen for its nourishing, skin-loving properties. This is blended with carefully selected botanical oils, essential oils, and natural extracts to create formulations that are gentle, effective, and beautifully balanced. Rather than relying on synthetic fillers or harsh detergents, the focus is on ingredients that work in harmony with the skin.

The process remains wonderfully hands-on. In their Rosebud workshop, each product is made in small batches, allowing the team to maintain close attention to detail at every stage. From measuring and blending ingredients, to pouring soaps into moulds, cutting, curing, and finally filling, labelling, and packing, nothing is rushed or overly automated.
That care has also been recognised with a growing list of awards. In the 2025 Clean + Conscious Awards, Olieve & Olie’s Clementine Body Oil received both Gold and the Editor’s Choice Award, while their Salt Scrub was awarded Silver. The previous year, their Protect Face Oil received Silver and an Editor’s Choice Award in the 2024 awards, with the Restore Face Oil also named a finalist. More recently, new products have again been selected as finalists in the 2026 Clean + Conscious Awards.
Their soaps, in particular, are traditionally crafted and then left to cure naturally, a process that helps create a longer-lasting bar with a rich, creamy lather. The body oils, balms, and lotions are similarly made with care, designed to absorb beautifully into the skin without feeling heavy or synthetic. Even the fragrance profiles are thoughtfully composed, often inspired by native botanicals, herbs, and the coastal landscape that surrounds them.

Sustainability is also woven into their approach. Packaging is kept as minimal and recyclable as possible, and the emphasis on small-batch production helps reduce waste while ensuring freshness. There is a clear sense that nothing is made unnecessarily and each product exists because it has a purpose in everyday life.
We love that their soaps and body products turn everyday habits into a small daily ritual.
