Founder and designer, Lina Rickardsson began producing plastic rugs under the brand Pappelini over 20 years ago. All rugs are made in Sweden by skilled craftspeople using the original mechanical looms, and the plastic material meets all the rigorous requirements of current environmental, health and safety standards. These fantastic rugs and mats are water resistant and super practical, and come in a great range of colours, patterns and sizes. We love them in an entrance, in kitchens for some softness underfoot and as a bath mat. They are also reversible, and can be used outdoors as well.
