Inspired by the rich texture in tapestries and the intricate patterns created through weaving this artwork titled 'fringed' looks like a painting from afar but has detail to discover.
It has been created from hand painted strips of artists paper that have been painstakingly cut with our favourite scissors and layered to create movement, shape and shadows. These pieces evolve organically and no two will ever be the same.
The soft whites, blushes and neutrals of 'fringed' are complemented by a solid oak box frame measuring 133cm X 93cm x 4cm.
