A new addition to our shop, these hand woven vessels are perfect for a small plant or as a storage basket, and look stunning just displayed on a shelf or bookcase. We love the texture and colour they add to a display.
Intricate in design, these vessels are created by craftswomen in Rwanda using traditional techniques. The designs are rich in cultural meaning and purpose as traditionally friends give them to celebrate major life events such as weddings, births and graduations. The artisans who make these baskets are fairly paid and given training, financial advice and support to enable them to support their families and see their communities thrive.
